Maryland native Dr. Siefker has loved animals from a young age. She followed her passion all the way to the Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, where she received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2003. She has been at Spotsylvania Animal Hospital ever since.
Dr. Katherine, as she’s known around the office, treats dogs, cats, exotics, and even the occasional farm animal. She is passionate about preventative care, pain management, and helping owners strengthen the bonds with their pets.
When not at work, she spends time with her wonderful husband and amazing children. Her family also includes three dogs Tank, Athena, and Raylan. Whenever she isn’t at work or with family, Dr. Katherine loves to take naps. She also enjoys reading, watching her kids play sports, and taking leisurely walks with her dogs in the woods.
Dr. Braman is a native of Williamsburg, Virginia and has always wanted to pursue Veterinary Medicine. She attended James Madison University for her undergraduate degree and went to Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine for her DVM which she received in 2023. After veterinary school, Dr. Braman worked in Waynesboro, Virginia at a small animal hospital prior to moving to Spotsylvania Animal Hospital in 2024. Dr. Braman has a special interest in animal behavior and enjoys working with owners to strengthen the Animal-Human bond.
When not at work, Dr. Braman enjoys spending time with her Fiance, two cats (Bahari and Goober) and her baby, Juniper.
Dr. Corbett, a Massachusetts native, wasn’t always going to be a veterinarian. She originally received her degree in finance from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2003. She worked in banking for about two years before moving to California with her husband. In California, she decided to pursue a job that let her continually learn, be challenged, and work to strengthen the bond between animal and human. She enrolled in veterinary school, and eventually received her DVM from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA in 2012. Following veterinary school, Dr. Corbett interned, and was eventually hired, at animal hospital in West Los Angeles. In 2015, she and her husband moved back to Massachusetts, where she practiced up until her move to Spotsylvania Animal Hospital in 2018.
Dr. Corbett and her husband share their home with their two dogs, Cora and Cipher, and cat, Finnian.
Margaret Washington was born and raised in nearby King George County. After working toward a degree in Business Administration from Germanna Community College, she moved to Spotsylvania and joined the Animal Clinic in 1996. Her original title was Veterinary Assistant, but has put her experience and studies to work, and is now the clinic’s Practice Manager.
When away from her many duties at the hospital, she loves to spend time with family
Oksana is a native of Brooklyn, New York, and has loved animals from the time she was a child. She left home to pursue her Veterinary Technician’s degree from Northampton Community College in Pennsylvania. After graduating, she joined Spotsylvania Animal Hospital in 2015, where she continues to enjoy working with animals every day.
She cares for two dogs and four cats, who she collectively refers to as her “fur children.”
Yes, our veterinarians are happy to care for many small mammals, including ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, sugar gliders, and hedgehogs, and we also see limited species of snakes and lizards. Call us to make sure your companion falls within the species we treat.

Please bring any medical records, vaccination history, previous lab results, and a list of current medications or supplements. If you’re transferring from another animal hospital, you can request your records be emailed to us before your visit.
Dogs must be on a secure, non-retractable leash and secure collar or harness. Cats and small mammals must be in a carrier for safety.
